Sonitha Tep is a graphic designer and interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in Mni Sóta Makoce (Minneapolis, MN). Their practice recontextualizes graphic design through a fine arts lens and engages with Cambodian identity, diaspora, oral stories and concepts of queerness. They work primarily in a papermaking, fiber and digital printmaking processes. Their graphic design practice prioritizes storytelling through the digital scape to honor accessibility, solidarity and the imagination in marginalized communities. Additionally, Sonitha is a survivor of homicide advocate. 

They attended Minneapolis College of Arts & Design in 2019 and received a BFA in Graphic Design. They have had work featured in St. Croix ArtReach, Stillwater Historical Courthouse, the Affirmation Space in Northrup King Building and FT1642 published by Formist.
