MOVO SPACE
MOVO SPACE is a studio dance and community space located in Minneapolis, MN. Artists have used MOVO for meetings, therapy, bodywork, hosting, activism, writing, teaching, building, and rehearsal.
I was contracted to create a brand identity, logo and collaborate with a web designer to build a new website. While brainstorming concepts for the brand. I researched different indigenous dances and rituals from different cultures to reflect the inclusiveness and influences that dance can bring into community. This research lead to the color palette that was chosen. Overall, the goal was to highlight how versatile the space can be.
