My mom was born during the year of the horse, which is represented in several different astrological zodiacs in Asia. Since my mom's death, I have been exploring grief through the lens of liminal spaces. The latin word "limina" means "threshold". I'm currently experimenting with various organic and digital materials and processes to achieve a specific in-betweenness such as a period of adolescence or unexpected familiarity. As I'm creating I'm also thinking about my relationship to androgyny and diving deeper to what that means.
